Don't Close St. Vincent's!

REMEMBERING 9-11
requires St. Vincent's Hospital

Don't Let This 9-11 Hero Die!

"The 800 New York State Nurses Association RNs who work at
St. Vincent's are today expressing their anger and frustration over the
decision of the hospital's board of directors to close the facility.

We believe this is nothing short of abandonment. How many people in
the community will suffer if acute care at
St. Vincent's is no longer available?

This board of directors is only concerned with an easy fix.
The patients of New York City need a hospital - not a political deal.

This community deserves health care!
Keep St. Vincent's Hospital open.

Please support St. Vincent's CALL Governor David Paterson
at 1-800-342-3464 and New York Health Commissioner
Richard Daines, M.D. at 518-474-2011

"Our beloved 160-year old hospital that has served New York City's Lower West Side as well as both World Trade Center bombings.

It now stands a very real threat to be shut down. Please join us in fighting this."
